Microchip and Princess are the best Miniature Pinschers in the world. Microchip is a chocolate and tan male whose date of whelping is 10/07/2004. He came to us from a wonderful breeder in Louisiana and he immediately won our hearts. We picked him up at the San Francisco airport and brought him home to the family. He instantly started showing his true colors: he would run incessantly and play with anything in his way. As he started teething, he would force us to watch TV with our feet up on the couch because the alternative was to get our feet chewed by his tiny, needle sharp teeth! We couldn't believe that a 2 lbs. puppy was running the household!!!
When it came time for school, Microchip attended Perfect Paws Training Academy in San Francisco. He loved obedience class and he particularly enjoyed playing with the biggest dogs in the group. He has always had a thing for seeking out big, big dogs!
Throughout his early months of age, Microchip was practically raised in a pouch that I used to hang on myself; he would go everywhere with me, including work, school, shopping, and of course, the pet shop!
Princess came to us in January of 2005; she was whelped on 11/17/2004 in Arizona. Despite the slight age difference, Princess was in control from the beginning! She is assertive, dominant, vocal and fearless--- what else could we want in a min pin? She was a sweet and playful puppy and all of a sudden a war ensued over chew toys, tennis balls, squeaky toys, dirty socks, etc!
Both Microchip and Princess are amazing! Princess attended obedience school at Alert K-9 Training Academy in Brentwood, California. She is not fond of the idea of compliance and submission, but she responded very well to rewards that consisted of yummy treats! After a while, she'd follow me around the house and would sit as soon as I turned to look at her in order to get a reward!!!
